About

The 2021 Run with Faith sponsored by Issaquah Christian Church (ICC) will be virtual again this year.  You pick the 5 or 10k course of your choosing and run it at a time of your choosing.  Runners are welcome to use the traditional 5 or 10k courses that start and finish at ICC but are not required to.  All registration is on-line, accessible through the big red button on our home page.  Registration officially closes April 24th at 10:00 AM, which would have been the start time in an ordinary year.  Until that time results can be entered or editted.

ICC inaugurated the Run with Faith community run in 2013 as a fund raiser for a local charity,  Compassion House of Issaquah.  Compassion House had been serving the Issaquah community since 1998 offering faith-based, temporary housing and restorative services for families that are transitioning from homelessness and are looking for a fresh start.  In 2019 Compassion House was absorbed into a parent organization with the same mission, Acres of Diamonds.

All of the proceeds from the Run with Faith race will support these causes.

Set in the shadow of Tiger Mountain, the RwF introduces the runner to the quaint and historic town of Issaquah as well as the extensive trail system on Tiger. The 5k route is a moderately difficult out and back, about half on the Tiger Mountain trail system and half on city streets and sidewalks. The 10k route borrows from the 5k course and is about ¾ trail, featuring a short, steep, technical section ascending to the Tradition Lake Plateau. Most runners will power walk this section, which gives way to a thickly-forested single-track that follows the undulations at the edge of the plateau.

The start and finish are at ICC on Issaquah-Hobart Rd SE, just on the south edge of town.
